Here you can find a list of other local opportunities to engage in women's ice hockey in WA state.

Seattle Women's Hockey Club

The first organized women's hockey club in the area, Seattle Women's Hockey Club (SWHC) is the true OG of the area. They are a non-profit, 501(c)(3) volunteer-run association dedicated to establishing a welcoming environment for women.  They run a women's league with four tiered divisions from September to April and offer learn-to-play and learn-to-skate clinics in the summer. Games are played on Fridays and Saturdays at the Kraken Community Iceplex. Skills sessions are held at Sno King Kirkland.


SWHC Learn to Skate and Game Skills Clinics

 In Learn to Skate, you will learn how to fall down, get up, getting moving, and stopping! Recommended for folks who have limited ice skating experience. In Game Skills, you will learn basic shooting, stickhandling, power skating skills. Recommended that at least a Learn to Skate class completed. Two six week sessions of each are offered every summer in Kirkland.

Kraken Women's Hockey League

Kraken Hockey League offers a year-round draft women's division. The program is a fun, relaxed division that is open to women ages 18+. Players sign up as individuals, and each season begins with League Staff assembling teams from registered free agents. Games are played on Tuesday evenings at rinks throughout the Seattle area from Kent to Everett.

Spokane Women's Hockey

Spokane Women's Hockey has been around almost as long as Seattle Women's Hockey Club, holding down the sport on the Eastern side of the mountains. They run the Women's Recreational Hockey League (WRHL) on Friday nights from September to April.

Wenatchee Women's Hockey

The Wenatchee Banshees run practices and scrimmages twice a week from September to March at Town Toyota Center. 

KCI Women's Drop In

A drop-in open to all women taking place every Saturday at 12pm at KCI.
